Mr Chan is the Founder of RenalTeam and provides leadership and strategic direction to it. He founded the company in 2012 to meet the increasing demand for quality haemodialysis treatments from a growing population of ESRD patients in the region. His experience in the healthcare sector began when he co-founded RadLink-Asia Pte Ltd, Singapore’s largest outpatient diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine and radiopharmaceutical group in 2000. He served as RadLink’s Managing Director from 2004 to 2012. He was a fund manager with Schroders Investment Management.
Jammie Mathews, Director of Malaysia & Indonesia

Ms Mathews has 24 years’ of experience in nursing, clinical staff training and the management of dialysis centres. She manages all aspects of RenalTeam’s operations in Malaysia including engaging with the Ministry of Health, centre management and set-up, patient care, nurse recruitment and training and setting up of dialysis centres in the region. She was the senior manager for St John Ambulance Malaysia (Renal Division), a Non Government Organization with 17 centres providing haemodialysis services across Malaysia. Her experience in operational management covers clinical and non-clinical services, and ensuring regulatory compliances and adherences to quality standards. Ms Mathews has a particular interest in service design in renal services and continuous operational improvements across the organisation.
Margaret Tay, General Manager, Singapore

Ms Tay’s extensive experience in healthcare includes 25 years with Hospital Authority Hong Kong. She is a skilled health care executive with experience in managing two public hospitals in Hong Kong, one of which as Hospital Chief Executive of Grantham Hospital, a 388 bed specialist hospital for heart and respiratory diseases. She was also Head of Research Office of the Hong Kong Government responsible for two public funds for health services research and health care promotion. As Chief Manager (Integrated Care Programs), she was instrumental in developing a home dialysis program for renal patients and in setting up a public private shared program for haemodialysis. She had developed a patient empowerment program for diabetic patients and performed the role of cluster coordinator for mental health and cancer programs.
Thiru Ponnurangam, Chief Technology Officer

Mr Thiru leads RenalTeam’s IT solution design and strategy. Thiru has been instrumental in defining RenalTeam’s technology vision and turning that vision into an Enterprise Renal Information Management System (RIMS). Thiru brings 15 years of systems & solution architecture and design and management experience to the company. He led product development teams in diagnostics imaging organisations and hospitals in Singapore. His experience in health care IT, includes Medical Imaging Workflow, ERIS, Tele-Radiology, PACS, e-Visa and Enterprise reporting solutions and Integration of different medical and related devices using HL7.
Toh Ai Sioh, Senior Finance Manager

Ms Toh has extensive finance and accounting experience in the healthcare sector. At RenalTeam, she directs and oversees all aspects of the finance & accounting and corporate secretariat functions of the company. She leads in the evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives and provides analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts. She provides management with the financial impact of business activities and manages processes for financial forecasting, budgets and reporting and ensures that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.
Tracy Lim, Assistant Director of Nursing

Ms Lim has more than 15 years of haemodialysis nursing, management and clinical teaching experience with Singapore’s National Kidney Foundation and private dialysis centres. She was Advanced Clinical Nurse at NKF. Ms Lim believes in developing clinical leadership to improve quality, outcomes and patient satisfaction. She had also led clinical improvement projects to enhance processes and clinical practices, she had assisted in an overseas project which involved the setting up and running of a nurse-led centre. She had led the diabetic taskforce in NKF and had involved and coordinated various diabetes related educations and activities for both patients and nurses. She and her team had also developed diabetes education tools and self-management program to increase patients’ skills and confidence in managing their health problems.
Lin Yen Hung, Manager, Renal Coordinator

Mr Lin is a registered social worker in Singapore and Taiwan. He was a medical social worker at Tan Tock Seng Hospital with strong case management experience with chronic kidney disease patients, supporting them and their families to manage the psychological, social and financial issues arising from the disease and working closely with medical and nursing professionals to ensure quality care. Mr Lin chose to specialise in chronic kidney disease patients because of the complexity of their disease, the significant life changes that patients and families undergo and his belief that he can help them the most. Mr Lin provides holistic care and counselling to patients at RenalTeam and assists them with arrangements for care at our dialysis centres. He works closely with our nurses, hospital colleagues and funding agencies to ensure our patients’ wellbeing and concerns are taken care of.

Ms Tan has built her career and years of experience in a variety of roles and industries. With her diverse experience and skills from various sectors across education and security training, which is not solely in Human Resources, but also in other administrative capacity such as Procurement, Insurance claims and Corporate Secretarial services, she has brought about significant changes and improvements to the various organisations.
