Payment Mode

Patients can pay for their treatments and other processes by cash, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, China UnionPay), and NETS.

MediSave/MediShield (for Singapore patients)

MediSave is a national savings scheme in Singapore.  Patients can use MediSave savings for themselves and their dependants (Dependants refer to spouse, children, parents and grandparents; Grandparents must be Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents).

MediShield is a basic medical insurance scheme designed to help pay part of the expenses of hospitalisations and certain approved outpatient treatments for kidney dialysis.

If you are planning to use your MediSave and/or MediShield to pay for dialysis treatments, we can help you to fill the forms for CPF Board’s approval.  Please bring along your Identify card for this purpose.

The CPF Board takes approximately two to three weeks to process the claim, as such, we will need our patients to settle their treatment bills first.  A cheque of the approved amount will be issued to patients once CPF Board approves their applications.

Private Medical Insurance

Patients can also pay and claim from your private medical insurance companies.  Please check with Insurance Advisors beforehand on outpatient renal dialysis coverage and the start date of policy cover.

As in claims from MediSave/MediShield, we need to collect payments from patients first. We will assist patients to complete the insurance claim forms and the insurance companies will reimburse the patients direct.  If the insurance company reimburses RenalTeam, we will pay the amount approved (and already paid by the patient) through cheques.
